Overall, there is a market for everything. In terms of sheer
roadworthiness, a new vehicle promises to be the most reliable, and
have the fewest surprises. It is challenging to weigh out what will
always provide the best value for a given situation but several things
must always be considered.
Usage: If you deliver over rougher
terrain, and perhaps have demanding and mission critical needs,
it is likely that nothing less than new equipment can "deliver" to
your requirements. If, however, you deliver to local suburban
roadways, and mostly residential, often having a backup, then
maybe you don't need to invest more capital in having brand
new equipment. There are varying degrees here, judge your situation
for yourself!
Overall Budget: Certainly having more money to spend,
makes buying brand new a more likely option. If you have that option,
you may be doing yourself better to invest a little more, but have
a new vehicle warranty, and know exactly how your delivery vehicle
has been maintained from day 1.
Your Business Particulars: Perhaps you have a full
time mechanic at your shop. That might make you the perfect candidate
for a used tank or truck. Someone who can make it efficient for
you to maintain used equipment may be a competitive angle you should
take advantage of. Either way, we sell only qualified used equipment,
so if you see it at our facility, you can already be assured by
the Allied Qualified used vehicle
If you have either a tank or a truck that is in really good shape,
(but the other half of the team is past it's time) don't get
rid of it. A Changeover in either direction makes great sense
for you. Allied Tank has extensive experience at retro fits of
Tanks and Cabs including LP Bobtails. Changeovers certainly involve
more than simply swapping a working tank on a new vehicle. With
plumbing and UL electrical to manage, care must be taken, and
experience put to use being sure the new match is as good as
new. In both engineering, workmanship, and Tank Truck Experience
you will find no equal to Allied Tank. Allied's quality? It's
everywhere.
